Why is medical care a risk factor?

Your child may have problems with his/her asthma if he/she is not taking the right medicine at the right time. These problems may be caused by not having a primary care physician, not having an asthma care plan, taking the wrong medications, having problems taking medications at school, and/or not keeping doctor's appointments.
